Morton Parasols
Workshop-built commercial parasols, assembled in Gloucestershire
Morton Parasols has specified commercial shade for hospitality venues since 2004. Our own range centres on the Malaga cantilever parasol, which we assemble by hand in our Gloucestershire workshop using high-quality Prostor components. Because we build every Malaga ourselves, we know exactly how it goes together and can configure each one for the site it will stand on.
The Malaga has a substantial 100 mm square extruded aluminium mast and stainless-steel fittings. Its gas-assisted “one move, easy up” mechanism makes opening and closing effortless. Canopies run from 2.5 m to 6 m, and one mast can carry one, two or four canopies, so a single parasol can shade an entire terrace. When it’s closed, the canopy folds back against the mast and leaves the space beneath completely clear.
Each Malaga can be fitted with infra-red heating and remote-controlled LED lighting. It can stand on a pedestal base or be fixed with an in-ground anchor for a clean, permanent finish. You’ll find Malaga parasols in restaurant courtyards, hotel terraces, golf clubs, schools and even on board motor yachts, including the courtyard of The In & Out Club in Central London.
