Superyacht Shade Perfection

Malaga Cantilever Marine Parasol

Designed for luxury motor yachts and superyachts, our flagship Malaga cantilever parasol provides sophisticated shade for hot tubs, sun loungers, dining and seating areas. Built in our own workshop, it features a substantial 100mm aluminium mast, aluminium frame and stainless-steel fittings, complemented by premium European solution-dyed acrylic fabrics offering excellent UV protection and water resistance.

Available from 2.5m to an impressive 6m x 6m, a single mast can support up to four independently operated canopies. Gas-spring-assisted operation makes opening effortless, while the canopy retracts neatly beside the mast when closed, leaving valuable deck space completely unobstructed.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Malaga suitable for use on a motor yacht or super yacht?

Yes. Its substantial aluminium construction, stainless-steel fittings and premium canopy fabrics make the Malaga particularly well suited to high-quality marine environments where strength, appearance and ease of operation are important.

Can the parasol provide shade over a hot tub or sun lounging area?

Absolutely. With sizes ranging from 2.5m to an impressive 6m x 6m, the Malaga can provide generous shade over hot tubs, sun loungers, dining areas and luxury outdoor seating arrangements.

What happens to the canopy when the parasol is closed?

Unlike many cantilever parasols, the canopy retracts neatly towards the mast when closed, leaving the previously shaded deck area completely clear and helping maximise valuable usable space aboard the yacht.

Can several canopies be supported from a single mast?

Yes. Depending upon the configuration, one substantial mast can accommodate up to four independently operated canopies, creating extensive shade while reducing the number of individual masts required within the deck area.

Can the parasol be specified to complement the yacht?

Yes. The Malaga is built in our own workshop and can be specified with a choice of premium European solution-dyed acrylic canopy colours, allowing the parasol to complement the yacht’s exterior styling, furnishings and overall aesthetic.
