Frequently asked questions

How easy is the Cannes Marine Parasol for the crew to operate?

Its concealed lifting system makes opening straightforward. Simply raise the arm until the mechanism takes over and completes the opening process. The hub locks automatically, with no ropes, pulleys, crank handles or securing pins to manage.

How effectively does the canopy protect owners and guests from the sun?

The premium European solution-dyed acrylic fabric provides excellent UV protection, creating a comfortable shaded space for relaxing and entertaining on deck. The precise protection rating should be confirmed for the selected fabric. Optional Sunbrella fabrics are available.

What makes the Cannes marine parasol suitable for marine use?

Marine-grade 316 stainless-steel fittings are used throughout, supported by robust strut-to-spoke connections. These details make it well suited to onboard applications, where material quality and dependable construction are essential.

Will its appearance complement a luxury superyacht?

The Cannes offers a clean, understated appearance, with its lifting mechanism concealed within the structure. Premium European acrylic canopy fabrics provide a refined finish, complementing elegant deck furnishings and carefully considered exterior design.

Can the parasol canopy remain open whilst the vessel is in motion?

Operating limits should be confirmed before use. The captain should follow the manufacturer’s guidance on wind conditions, mounting and stowage, taking account of both vessel speed and apparent wind across the deck.
