The independent international jury of experts bestowed the coveted seal of quality upon the Jumbrella amongst 6,400 entries from 54 countries. The world-famous Jumbrella by Bahama of Germany is the original wind-certified commercial parasol, engineered for demanding hospitality and leisure environments. Available in impressive canopy sizes from 3m to 6m, its heavy-duty construction combines a substantial extruded mast, double support struts, stainless-steel fittings and high-grade corrosion-resistant materials for exceptional strength and longevity. Beware imitations.

Easy to operate using a secure lever system with integrated anti-theft protection, the Jumbrella is available for permanent or mobile installation. Its tensioned canopy enhances wind resistance and fabric life, while water-repellent, high-UV-rated fabrics are offered in 25 colours. A telescopic system also enables convenient closure over standard-height tables.

Why have I seen "Jumbrellas" at lower prices on the internet?

Well, the short answer you probably haven’t! Jumbrella is a registered name, with Bahama GmbH of Germany. Unfortunately, some less than educated suppliers of parasols call their parasols “Jumbrellas”, when in fact, they are simply large commercial parasols and are nowhere near the quality of the original Jumbrella by Bahama. It’s a little like us saying we are going to push the Hoover around the living room today. But in fact it could be an Electrolux or a Dyson. So, please beware the incorrectly named imitations that are found on the internet. If you do not compare like to like, you may make a purchasing error.

What makes the Jumbrella suitable for commercial hospitality use?

The award winning Jumbrella is exceptionally well suited to demanding commercial environments where strength, reliability and ease of operation are essential. Its wind-certified construction, substantial extruded mast and double support strut system provide dependable stability, while corrosion-resistant materials and stainless-steel fittings ensure excellent durability with minimal maintenance.

Available in generous sizes from 3m to 6m, it provides extensive weather protection for busy outdoor areas. Water-repellent, high-UV-rated fabrics, simple lever operation and a telescopic closing system further enhance practicality, making the Jumbrella an excellent long-term choice for hospitality, catering and leisure settings.

Is the Jumbrella a wind-resistant commercial parasol?

Yes, very much so. The warranty is peerless…up to 111-months wind warranty depending on installation options and parasol size of up to wind force 10 (102 km/h). Terms and conditions apply. Please ask for details.

What sizes and canopy shapes are available?

Jumbrella is available in an extensive selection of square, rectangular and octagonal canopy sizes, with dimensions extending up to six metres. Morton Parasols can advise on the most appropriate size, shape and installation arrangement for a particular hospitality setting.

Can The Jumbrella be fitted with heating and lighting?

Yes. The optional advanced, cutting edge equipment for a Jumbrella is technically the best you can buy. However, it is not inexpensive. If heating and lighting is a critical part of your desired specification, I would suggest that you obtain two quotes from us…one for Jumbrella and one for The Schattello model, which is a more budget-friendly option.
