The Schattello is the UK’s leading heavy-duty commercial parasol, engineered to create a comfortable, attractive and commercially valuable outdoor space. Its robust mast and reinforced toughened spokes provide dependable structural strength, complemented by stainless-steel fittings throughout. The spokes remain under continuous tension, keeping the canopy fabric taut and helping to extend its service life.

A removable crank handle ensures simple operation, while the telescopic closing system allows the canopy to close above standard-height tables, minimising disruption to furniture below. Requiring little routine maintenance, the Schattello can also be specified with energy-efficient infrared heating and integrated LED lighting.

Offset—or eccentric—square and rectangular versions are also available. These position the mast away from the centre of the covered area, creating more usable space beneath the canopy for tables, seating and customer circulation. Can Schattello parasols be fitted with heating and lighting?

The Schattello parasol can be equipped with four infra-red heaters and four low-energy LED lights, with the electrical components integrated into the parasol. Infra-red heaters provide targeted warmth beneath the canopy, while LED lighting illuminates the tables and seating area during the evening. An optional timer button can automatically limit each heating period, helping hospitality operators manage energy consumption while extending the practical use of their outdoor terraces during cooler weather.

What fabric colours are available for the Schattello parasol?

The Schattello parasol is available with water-repellent, highly UV-resistant, solution-dyed acrylic canopy fabric in approximately 40 colours. Fire-retardant and easy-clean PVC fabrics are also available for locations with particular operational challenges, such as ambient air pollution.
