Five-Star Terrace Comfort

Schattello Parasol For Hotels

Created for prestigious hotels and demanding hospitality environments, the Schattello commercial parasol provides dependable shade for hotel restaurant terraces, poolside areas, courtyards and outdoor lounges. Its robust mast, reinforced aluminium spokes and stainless-steel fittings deliver the strength required for regular commercial use. Continuous spoke tension keeps the canopy fabric taut, presenting a smart appearance while helping to extend its working life.

A detachable crank handle allows hotel staff to operate the parasol easily, while the telescopic system enables closure above standard-height tables without disturbing surrounding furniture. Optional infra-red heaters and integrated LED lighting create a comfortable, welcoming setting for guests throughout cooler evenings.

Frequently asked questions

What makes the Schattello commercial parasol suitable for a hotel terrace?

The Schattello parasol is ideally suited to hotel terraces because its robust aluminium construction, reinforced spokes and stainless-steel fittings provide the durability required for intensive commercial use. Available in a wide range of sizes, it creates generous, dependable shade for outdoor dining, drinks and relaxation. Its telescopic system allows closure above tables, while optional infra-red heaters, warm-white LED lighting and side sheets help hotels offer guests a comfortable, attractive terrace throughout cooler days and evenings.

Is the Schattello a wind-resistant commercial parasol?

Yes. The Schattello parasol remains steadfast in windy conditions, thanks to the robust aluminium structure, reinforced spokes and high-quality stainless-steel fittings. Spring-loaded reinforced spokes maintain tension across the canopy fabric, reducing movement and helping to prolong the life of the fabric. Different canopy sizes and installation methods have different wind ratings, so the parasol should be specified for its intended location and securely closed when local conditions exceed its certified limits.

What sizes and canopy shapes are available?

Schattello commercial parasols are available in a huge choice of sizes in square, rectangular and octagonal canopy shapes, with dimensions extending up to six metres. Offset—or eccentric—square and rectangular versions are also available. These position the mast away from the centre of the covered area, creating more usable space beneath the canopy for tables, seating and customer circulation. Morton Parasols can advise on the most appropriate size, shape and installation arrangement for a particular hospitality terrace.

Do Schattello parasols come with heating and lighting?

Optional heating and lighting is available. Up to four infra-red heaters and four low-energy LED lights, can be specified. Infra-red heaters provide targeted warmth beneath the canopy, while LED lighting illuminates the underside with a very pleasing “warm white” tone. An optional timer button can automatically limit each heating period, helping hospitality operators manage energy consumption while extending the practical use of their outdoor terraces during cooler weather.

What fabric colours are available for the Schattello parasol?

The Schattello parasol is available with water-repellent, highly UV-resistant, European solution-dyed acrylic fabric in approximately 40 colours. Optional fire-retardant and easy-clean PVC fabrics are also available for locations challenged with poor air quality and other airborne debris.
