Piazza Self Opening Hotel Parasol

The Piazza Self-Opening Hotel Parasol brings elegant, practical shade to hotel terraces, resort dining areas and poolside spaces. Available in sizes from 2 to 4.5 metres, its concealed power-assisted mechanism makes daily operation simple for hotel staff: raise the arm and the canopy opens and locks securely into place, without ropes, pulleys or cranks.

Choose a bamboo or aluminium frame to complement the character of your hotel or resort. A polished cast-aluminium hub, stainless-steel fittings and reinforced joints provide lasting strength, while premium European solution-dyed acrylic fabric offers excellent UV protection. Permanent and mobile installation options suit different guest areas, and optional canopy printing can carry your hotel branding.

The Piazza hotel parasol is built for the demands of daily hotel use, with premium materials throughout its frame and canopy. Its concealed opening mechanism also removes accessible ropes and other fittings that guests might interfere with.

Why is the Piazza parasol price point so much higher than similar looking parasols seen on the internet?

For a hotel or resort, a parasol must do more than look attractive on the day it is installed. It needs to withstand regular use across terraces, dining areas and guest spaces while maintaining the quality guests expect. The Piazza is engineered for these demands, with a frame made from premium aluminium alloys or laminated bamboo, stainless-steel fittings and a solution-dyed acrylic canopy that offers excellent UV protection and colour retention. Every component is replaceable, with spare parts available to support its working life.

Lower-priced parasols may look similar at first, but some use lower-grade materials, polyester canopies and two-piece masts designed for easier shipping. These choices can affect strength and durability. If a part fails and no replacement is available, the whole parasol may need replacing.

The Piazza requires a greater initial investment, but its durable construction and repairability make it a sound long-term choice for hotel and resort operators.

There is a hidden gas spring inside the top of the mast. This essentially assists the opening of the canopy. See the video!

Can I add branding or printing onto the fabric canopy?

Absolutely. The Piazza parasol is the perfect advertising platform. We can even get bespoke patterns printed for a stunning scene.

What are the fabric colour choices?

There are around 17 beautiful colours to choose from. The fabrics are made from hard-wearing solution-dyed acrylic fabrics, which are water repellent and have a high UV rating. However, if you have specific requirements, we can source additional fabrics, including the Sunbrella range.
