Piazza Self Opening Cafe Parasol

The Piazza Self-Opening Cafe Commercial Parasol brings welcoming shade to café terraces and pavements, bistro terraces and outdoor dining areas. Available in sizes from 2 to 4.5 metres, it is designed for the demands of daily service. Staff simply raise the arm; the concealed power-assisted mechanism completes the opening movement and locks the canopy securely in place. With no ropes, pulleys, pins, cranks or levers to manage, opening up for service is straightforward.

Choose a bamboo or aluminium frame to suit your setting. A polished cast-aluminium hub, stainless-steel fittings and reinforced strut-to-spoke joints provide strength for commercial use. Premium European solution-dyed acrylic fabric offers excellent UV protection, while permanent or mobile installation options give you flexibility as your outdoor layout changes. Optional canopy printing can display your café or bistro branding.

Why is The Piazza cafe parasol good for commercial applications?

The  Piazza parasol is designed for heavy daily use on Cafe and Bistro terraces. Only premium materials are used for the structure and canopy. In addition, the clever opening system removes impediments, such as ropes, that clients could potentially interfere with.

Why is the Piazza parasol price point so much higher than similar looking parasols seen on the internet?

For a Cafe or Bistro, a parasol must do more than look attractive on the day it is installed. It needs to withstand regular use across terraces and be easy to operate and remove at night. The Piazza is engineered for these demands, with a frame made from premium aluminium alloys or laminated bamboo, stainless-steel fittings and a solution-dyed acrylic canopy that offers excellent UV protection and colour retention. Ideally used on a wheeled base, you can move the parasol with ease.

Lower-priced parasols may look similar at first, but some use lower-grade materials, polyester canopies and two-piece masts designed for easier shipping. These choices can affect strength and durability. If a part fails and no replacement is available, the whole parasol may need replacing.

The Piazza requires a greater initial investment, but its durable construction and repairability make it a sound long-term choice for busy Cafes and Bistros.

Can I add branding or printing onto the fabric canopy?

Absolutely. The Piazza parasol is the perfect advertising platform for a Cafe or Bistro. We can even get bespoke patterns printed.

What are the fabric colour choices?

There are around 17 beautiful colours to choose from. The fabrics are made from hard-wearing solution-dyed acrylic fabrics, which are water repellent and have a high UV rating. However, if you have specific requirements, we can source additional fabrics, including the Sunbrella range.
