Created for demanding hospitality environments, the Schattello parasol provides dependable shade for restaurant terraces, poolside areas, courtyards and outdoor lounges. Its robust mast, reinforced aluminium spokes and stainless-steel fittings deliver the strength required for regular commercial use. The reinforced spokes are held under constant tension, which keeps the canopy fabric taut, presenting a smart appearance while helping to extend its working life.

A detachable crank handle allows restaurant staff to operate the parasol with ease, while the telescopic system ensures that the canopy will clear standard-height tables without disturbing surrounding furniture. Optional infra-red heaters and integrated LED lighting create a comfortable, welcoming setting for guests throughout the year.

The Schattello parasol is ideally suited to restaurant terraces because its structure is compose of high grade alloys and rust-proof fittings. In addition, reinforced spokes add to the durability required for intensive commercial use. Available in a wide range of sizes and shapes, it creates generous, dependable shade for outdoor dining, drinks and relaxation. A telescopic system allows closure over tables, whilst optional efficient infra-red heaters and warm-white LED lighting help your restaurant offer guests a comfortable, attractive terrace throughout cooler days and evenings.

Is the Schattello a wind-resistant commercial parasol?

Yes. The Schattello parasol remains steadfast in windy conditions, thanks to the robust aluminium structure, reinforced spokes and high-quality stainless-steel fittings. Tensioned and reinforced spokes keep the canopy taut, reducing movement and helping to prolong the life of the fabric.

What sizes and canopy shapes are available?

Schattello commercial parasols are available in a large choice of sizes in square, rectangular and octagonal canopy shapes, from 2.5m to 6m. Offset (eccentric) square and rectangular versions are also available. These position the mast away from the centre of the covered area, creating more usable space beneath the canopy for additional covers. Morton Parasols can advise on the most appropriate size, shape and installation arrangement for a particular hospitality terrace.

Can Schattello parasols come with heating and lighting?

Optional heating and lighting is available, with up to four infra-red heaters and four LED lights. Infra-red heaters provide targeted warmth beneath the parasol canopy and LED lights add to the overall ambience with a “warm white” glow. An optional timer button limits each heating period, helping restaurants manage energy costs and at the same time, extending the practical use of their outdoor terraces during cooler weather.

What fabric colours are available for the Schattello parasol?

The Schattello parasol is available in around 40 colour shades. European solution-dyed acrylic fabrics are used for the membranes, which are water resistant and carry a high UV rating. Optional fire-retardant and easy-clean PVC fabrics are also available for locations challenged with low air quality and other airborne debris.
