The Piazza Self-Opening Parasol is an elegant, heavy-duty choice for golf club patios and terraces, providing dependable shade with effortless daily operation. Available in sizes from 2 to 4.5 metres, its concealed power-assisted lifting system requires no ropes, pulleys, pins, cranks or levers. Staff simply raise the arm, allowing the mechanism to complete the opening process and lock the canopy securely into position.

Available with a bamboo or aluminium frame, the Piazza combines refined styling with robust commercial construction. Stainless-steel fittings, reinforced joints and premium UV-resistant acrylic fabrics ensure lasting performance. The Piazza parasol is ideal for a golf club terrace because it combines refined styling, dependable commercial strength and effortless daily operation. Its power-assisted mechanism enables staff to open and close the canopy quickly, without ropes, pulleys, pins or crank handles. Available in several sizes and with mobile or permanent installation options, it provides flexible shade for dining and seating areas. Optional canopy printing can also display the golf club’s branding prominently.

Why is the Piazza parasol price point so much higher than similar looking parasols seen on the internet?

While many lower-priced parasols may look comparable at first glance, closer examination reveals important differences in materials, engineering and anticipated service life. The Piazza is purpose-built for professional environments, using premium-grade aluminium or laminated bamboo, together with high-quality stainless-steel fittings. Its solution-dyed acrylic canopy delivers excellent UV protection, lasting colour and reliable outdoor performance. Every component is replaceable, supported by a comprehensive range of spare parts.

By comparison, many inexpensive parasols are mass-produced from lower-grade materials, thin polyester fabrics and two-piece masts designed for economical shipping. These compromises can substantially reduce strength and longevity. With little or no replacement-parts support, a single failure may render the entire parasol unusable. Although the Piazza requires a higher initial investment, its commercial-grade construction, repairability and extended working life offer far greater long-term value.

How do you operate the Piazza parasol ?

A hidden gas spring inside the top of the mast. This assists the opening of the canopy. See the video above, for the perfect demonstration!

Can I add branding or printing onto the fabric canopy?

Yes. There are some examples shown in the gallery above.

What fabric colour choices are there?

There are around 17 brilliant colours to choose from. The fabrics are made from hard-wearing solution-dyed acrylic fabrics, which are water repellent and have a high UV rating. However, if you have specific requirements, we can source additional fabrics, including the Sunbrella range.
