Piazza Self Opening Parasol

The  Piazza parasol is designed for heavy daily use. Only premium materials are used for the structure and canopy. In addition, the clever opening system removes impediments, such as ropes, that clients could potentially interfere with.

Although many lower-priced parasols may appear similar, the differences become clear when their materials, construction and expected working life are examined. The Piazza is engineered specifically for commercial use, with a structure manufactured from premium aluminium alloys or laminated bamboo, complemented by stainless-steel fittings. Its canopy is made from high-quality solution-dyed acrylic fabric, providing excellent UV protection, colour retention and long-term outdoor performance. Importantly, every component is replaceable, ensuring comprehensive spare-parts support.

Many inexpensive alternatives are mass-produced using lower-grade materials, lightweight polyester canopies and two-piece masts designed primarily to simplify shipping. This can significantly reduce structural strength and service life. When a component fails, replacement parts are rarely available, leaving the entire parasol to be discarded.

The Piazza represents a greater initial investment, but its commercial-grade engineering, repairability and durability provide considerably better long-term value.

There is a hidden gas spring inside the top of the mast. This essentially assists the opening of the canopy. See the video!

There are around 17 beautiful colours to choose from. The fabrics are made from hard-wearing solution-dyed acrylic fabrics, which are water repellent and have a high UV rating. However, if you have specific requirements, we can source additional fabrics, including the Sunbrella range.
