Malaga Cantilever Parasol

The Malaga is a high-strength commercial cantilever parasol built in Morton Parasols’ Gloucestershire workshop. Its substantial aluminium frame, 100mm square mast and stainless-steel fittings make it suitable for demanding hospitality settings, including hotels, restaurants, pubs, cafés and golf club terraces.

The differences could not be wider. The Malaga parasol is a 100% commercial quality parasol. Premium alloys are used for the structure and the canopy employs UV rated fabrics. Every component can be replaced. Garden centre and DIY store parasols are largely made in The Far East, with poor quality materials and thin polyester fabrics, which offer little sun protection. They break easily. There is no spare parts support, which renders these products in the “throw away” category.

The Malaga is available in square and octagonal shapes, with canopy sizes ranging from 2.5 metres to large configurations up to 6 metres square.. Single, double and quadruple canopy arrangements are available, allowing one mast to provide shade across differently shaped outdoor spaces.

Yes. The Malaga features a power-assisted “one move – easy up” system. An integrated gas spring assists with opening and closing the canopy with minimal effort. When closed, the canopy retracts towards the mast, leaving the area completely clear.

Yes. The Malaga can be fitted with optional infra-red heating and remote-controlled LED lighting. These additions can help hospitality businesses keep terraces comfortable and inviting during cooler evenings, extending the practical use of outdoor dining and seating areas.
